What I'm like
I am an enthusiastic and approachable person who is equally interested in people and the businesses they run. Always looking at the positive aspects of a situation, my focus is to encourage people to build on their experience, learn from mine, and challenge any assumptions that might have been made along the way. I believe that ideas are not 'good' or 'bad' and your method of doing business is not 'right' or 'wrong'. When you work with me it will be a case of discovering the best way to get what you want, using humour and imagination whenever possible!
My Experience
Since starting my first business venture (keeping chickens and selling the eggs!) at the age of eight, I have had broad experience in small and large businesses. Roles have ranged from shift production worker to finance and ICT manager and project Director, so I am used to being really hands-on. I have started several businesses of my own since the first, and over the last five years have helped over 300 people to bring their own endeavours to success.
I have worked as a trainer and coach to a variety of businesses from small to multi-national, with the emphasis on practical problem-solving and keeping motivated. You can also find me in several universities and colleges lecturing in finance and enterprise management.
My Qualifications
Since taking my accountancy qualifications I have also gained accreditation in
